Colin Peters

Colin has previously worked as a distributor agronomist and a farm manager for a large farm management organisation before moving on to work as Head of Farms for BBSRC, based at Rothamsted Research.

As Niab's Field Agronomy Advice Lead, he brings together the skills, knowledge and timely information from the nationally spread on farm agronomy team to help the research teams keep up to date with what is happening live on farm agronomically, politically and financially. This reciprocal relationship means that the on farm agronomists benefit from up to date and totally independent research.

Colin also runs a wide reaching range of research projects and benefits from contact with the research and agronomy teams to make sure that the best people can be brought together to make research projects deliver their objectives well and that the teams enjoy doing so.
