Apple Rootstock

Bred in the 1960s, M116 apple rootstock is a cross between MM106 and M27. Building on the strengths of MM106, M116 produces a slightly smaller tree than its parent MM106 but with similar productivity. It has demonstrated resistance to Phytophora and woolly aphid.
