Farmer guide for undersowing maize

This is decision support guide for undersowing maize aims to assist all maize growers by giving guidance for decision making on undersowing maize, to protect soil and water whilst minimising risk to maize yield.

Successful maize undersowing will depend on soil conditions, establishment timing and weather (particularly soil moisture and sunshine levels). The information included has been developed from an extensive range of research reports, Maize Growers’ Association and industry technical guidance, as well as responses to a national farmer/agronomist questionnaire.
