Akil Bonaparte

Akil Bonaparte is a Cereal Pathologist, supporting pathogen monitoring, resistance screening and disease management research across wheat, barley and oats. He delivers day-to-day pathology trials across field sites, glasshouses and controlled-environment facilities, assessing diseases caused by fungal pathogens and other major cereal pathogens.

He supports the Cereal Recommended List and Variety List trials, contributes to the Morley Long-Term Trials funded by The Morley Agricultural Foundation (TMAF), and works as the technical lead for the UK Cereals Pathogen Virulence Survey (UKCVPS).
