Sam Bousfield

Based at Cambridge, Sam joined Niab in 2021 and is a trials manager for the Central region, specialising in weed and herbicide work and working closely with the trials coordinators, crop specialists and regional agronomists. As part of the field trials team, he is involved in all aspects of trials delivery – design and planning, drilling, netting, spraying, assessments, data handling, harvest, and working in the seed handling unit. Customers for the trials work can be in-house, for Niab agronomy membership, or commercial trials on behalf of the UK agricultural sector, including agrochemical manufacturers and plant breeders.
