Tom Poole

Tom as a Pathology Technician supports the Broadleaf and Cereal Variety List, Recommended List and fungicide efficacy trials. He assesses disease progression caused by fungi, oomycetes, viruses, bacteria and nematodes. A technical role involving field and lab work, inoculating and scoring a range of pathogen and commercial trials in the field and controlled environments. He also runs diagnostics on field samples for entry to our long-term culture collection.
