Join us for a hands-on vineyard workshop led by renowned viticulture expert Fritz Westover. This interactive session is designed to provide UK grape growers with practical solutions and insights tailored to the unique challenges of cool-climate viticulture.

Participants will get the chance to engage in:

  • 10.45 am - Vineyard demos/discussions

  • 1.30 pm - Afternoon presentation
  • 2.00 pm - Vineyard demos/discussions
    • Field demonstrations: sustainable vineyard practices demonstrated in the vineyard.
    • Interactive discussions: explore topics such as vine longevity from adopting a "closed system" for vine training and pruning, leaf blade and petiole vs soil analysis, strimming vs herbicide vs cultivation, reducing vineyard management costs etc.
    • Q&A Sessions: Bring your vineyard challenges and get expert advice from Fritz.
    • Networking opportunities: connect with fellow growers and industry professionals.
