Hilary Papworth

Hilary Papworth is Senior Technical Manager in the Crop Characterisation Team and is responsible for the delivery of Plant Breeder's Rights (PBR) trials on Ornamental crops on behalf APHA - the Animal and Plant Health Agency.

Hilary has experience in a wide range of different crops and testing methods in the area of PBR, with 30+ years' experience of delivering trials on behalf of governmental bodies.

She represents the UK interests at the UPOV (International Union for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants) Technical Working Party for Ornamental Plants and Forest Trees (UPOV TWO) and the is the current chair of that working party.
