The NIAB website tries to make itself accessible to disabled users. To this end, the website has been coded with web standards in mind. Care has been taken so screen readers can display the site properly.
While one of the W3C recommendations is to use access keys to provide users with shortcuts to sections of the website, NIAB has chosen not to implement this. Unfortunately there are practical problems with implementing access keys; they often conflict with browser shortcuts, or the shortcuts of a screen-reader someone may be using.
