NIAB TAG champions the role of independent variety and agronomic research, with one of the UK’s largest farmer and industry membership bases providing information and on-farm advice.

Access the latest independent arable advice and research with a focus on future developments and the role of technology on-farm at our Sutton Scotney trials site in Hampshire. The NIAB TAG Sutton Scotney Open Day works with partners and collaborators from across our industry, demonstrating a range of agronomy and policy solutions including variety choice, fungicide options, precision farming and forage crops.

FREE FOR ALL to attend with a mix of marquee exhibits and field based demonstrations that enable attendees to interact with researchers and other industry experts, including Premium Crops, AHDB Cereals & Oilseeds, The Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust, Catchment Sensitive Farming and SIP.

Event timetable

  • 10am - Registration open, refreshments and marquee exhibits
  • 10.30am - Field demonstration tour
  • 1pm - Lunch (including buffalo burgers) plus marquee exhibits
  • 2pm - finish

PLEASE NOTE: There is only one 10.30am start time for the field tour this year. Please arrive in time.
