The compulsory retests are to be held on both Monday 10th and Wednesday 12th June 2019. Candidates have the opportunity to attend either date.

You have the choice of attending a training session followed by the APHA examination or you may attend the APHA examination only.  The training session covers the main characters used in variety identification with particular emphasis on field characteristics and techniques for detecting admixtures.

The examination will include a short theory paper on inspection techniques and field standards in addition to practical work on pure and admixture plots.

The fees are:

Training session (zero rated VAT)                =  £234.39

APHA examination (zero rated VAT)            =  £151.39  - Total = £385.78

Also, please note that APHA will only grant an extension to your licence in exceptional circumstances.

Cancellations received up to 14 days before the course are refundable, less a £80 administration charge.  After that, cancellations are subject to the entire course fee.  (Fees cannot be carried over to the following year under any circumstance)PLEASE NOTE - Booking alterations/amendments cannot be made within one month of the course start date, except under exceptional circumstances.

If, however, you do not intend to take your test could you please let us know, in which case your eligibility as a cereal crop inspector will cease.
