The 'Sustainable agriculture for sub-Saharan Africa - Solanum aethiopicum improvement' project (SASSA-SAI) aims to improve the production of the African eggplant, Solanum aethiopicum, an important indigenous African crop.


SASSA-SAI is a project between four African partner organisations and NIAB in the UK


We are grateful to our peers in selecting this project and to our funders for supporting us. Our project is a Global Challenges Research Fund - BBSRC SASSA grant.
