NIAB VEG FINDER 2007
Have you, like The Prince of Wales, ever wondered whether one of your favorite garden vegetable varieties is still available? And if so where can you buy seed? Well wonder no longer because the annual NIAB “Veg Finder” is now available on CD. One of our recently retired colleagues has trawled through 35 garden seed catalogues and updated our database of vegetable and herb varieties. Contrary to perceived wisdom the number of varieties available to gardeners is not shrinking but increasing with 230 extra entries this year. The total list contains over 6000 names of which just over 400 are herbs and the balance vegetable varieties.
