As the Non Food Crops Project Manager, I am responsible for the delivery of our current projects and the development of new ideas. Currently we have six projects covering both pharmaceutical, neutraceutical, environmental and bio-energy projects being delivered. In common with most of our project work there is a large amount of collection and evaluation of germplasm, crop improvement principally through plant breeding and the development of good agronomic practices.
I work in partnership with Dr Lydia Smith to develop new project opportunities. We have already achieved significant success with our ability to match the customer’s objectives with the possible funding opportunities for this type of work.
