NIAB, Huntington Road, Cambridge, CB3 0LE, UK
I co-ordinate the pre-breeding initiative at NIAB in Cambridge. I provide plant breeding expertise in support of crop development programs under the leadership of Professor Andy Greenland and the associate heads of Centre, Donal O’Sullivan and Simon Kerr.
I am a crop geneticist and agronomist with expertise in cereal and ornamental breeding, molecular genetics and molecular plant pathology. I have 20 years’ experience in cereal production, commercial plant breeding and academic research in the UK, Australia and the United Republic of Tanzania. I joined NIAB from the John Innes Centre in April 2006.
