Dr Barsby has had significant experience in the agricultural crop sector, and is currently project manager of the BBSRC funded Cross Institute Programme in Cereal and Grass Genomics (MONOGRAM). Having previously worked for Group Limagrain for 20 years, Tina has extensive experience in plant biotechnology and applied plant science, and has been actively involved in various networking and cross-sector activities bringing together scientists and breeders. She is currently a UK representative of Tritigen cost action, funded by the European Union under the 6th Framework programme. Dr Barsby is Company Secretary of NIAB Ltd.
