As Head of the Evaluation Team at NIAB I am responsible for the management of the Regional Trials Centres and Crop Specialists. I also co-ordinate activities for statistical services and provision of IT across NIAB. Within the Evaluation Team we strive to increase our core business of variety trials and field trials services as well as developing our portfolio of customers and other activities, including field-based research. 
My crop specialisms are in sugar beet and potatoes where I keep an active role in the analysis and reporting of results as well as some fieldwork when the weather permits
