I am responsible for the management of all NIAB TAG Regional Trials Centres. This includes co-ordinating statutory, advisory, contract and research trials as well as associated statistical and reporting activities.
Across the 11 Regional Trials Centres we strive to deliver high quality trials across a range of arable and horticultural crops to meet the requirements of customers. This includes trials for levy boards, statutory authorities, plant breeders, chemical manufactureres and distributors as well as NIAB TAG Network Members trials. Research trials include long-term rotation work, disease monitoring, cultivations, soil husbandry and environmental monitoring.
My crop specialisms are in sugar beet and potatoes where I keep an active role in the analysis and reporting of results as well as some fieldwork.
