Roger has substantial experience in the physiological characterisation of developmental processes in crops and N nutrition and crop N responses.

Susie Roques
ADAS WP4
Susie.Roques@adas.co.uk

Susie is a crop physiologist with ADAS. She studied plant sciences at Cambridge University and Imperial College before joining ADAS ten years ago. The main aims of her research are to optimise crop nutrition and to understand the mechanisms of crop yield formation. Recent work includes reviewing and revising ‘RB209,’ the national fertiliser manual for cereals and oilseeds; developing new spatial techniques for field experimentation; assessing the benefits of nitrogen efficiency products; comparing the yields and N responses of wheat and triticale; and reviewing the non-NPKS nutrient requirements of UK cereals and oilseed rape.
