NIAB Innovation Farm

Each year NIAB Innovation Farm hosts a series of events each year to promote the power of plant genetic innovation, offer support project partners and provide FREE assistance for small to medium businesses (SME's), these events offer a mix of seminars, discussions, one to one advice, networking and a guided tour of NIAB Innovation Farm exhibits.

NIAB TAG Professional Development Training for Farmers

Providing a structured route to BASIS and NRoSO CPD points NIAB TAG holds these five day-long events at two locations open to all farmers. Themes and subjects are suggested by the groups themselves but topics typically cover a wide range of agronomic, environmental, legislative and emergent issues. The cost is £355 (+VAT) for all five meetings; including lunch and course notes where appropriate.

NIAB Training and Courses

NIAB has a long-established and successful reputation in delivering specialist training to farmers, government and commercial customers. These include agronomy training, variety and pest identification, crop inspection methods, and seed sampling and testing specifically aimed at agricultural advisors and agronomists in support of crop quality assurance schemes.
