NIAB Staff Club

The NIAB Staff Centre was built in 1975 to provide a facility for all staff to use. The Staff Club is managed by the Staff Club Committee, which is made up of members of staff at NIAB. Functions are held for staff during the year, with the bar and lounge also being available for private hire. The Staff Centre is a facility which NIAB encourages staff to use as a social area and to enjoy their lunch break in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere.

Membership of the Staff Club is £3 per year for staff or £10 for Associate Members. This covers you for use of the facilities and accidental damage. The following facilities are available on site, please contact the relevant member of staff for more information.

We have two courts available, situated on the top floor of the Seeds Building, on the following days:

  • Any lunchtime between 12 Noon - 2.00 pm
  • Monday Evenings - 5.30 pm - 7.30 pm
  • Tuesdays - 5.30 pm - 7.30 pm

Please contact Steven Bentley for further details.

We have many associate members, who play in the evenings. If you wish to receive any further information we can add you to the e-mail list.

Football is played every Wednesday lunchtime throughout the year on our NIAB pitch between 1pm and 2pm. Floodlit 11-a-side games are organised for the football team and 7-a-side matches after work during the summer months. We also have an annual inter- group tournament for two weeks in the summer. Please contact Dave Smith for further details.

NIAB has its own Golf Society with tournament days held for all standards of golfers through the spring and summer months.
