As Head of I.T. at NIAB I am responsible for ensuring the delivery of all IT services at NIAB, providing innovative I.T. solutions to meet NIAB's business requirements and managing the NIAB I.T. team. NIAB's current development platform is based on Microsoft and ORACLE solutions with ORACLE being the main database repository.
However, there is a growing requirement to make greater use of WEB-enabled applications to allow greater flexibility in accessing information and to provide solutions based on Open Source development tools to meet NIAB's newer business requirements
