Research Interests:
Quantitative genetics and plant breeding. Human genetics.
I have been employed at NIAB since 2005 as a statistical geneticist. Prior to that I worked in human genetics for six years and as a plant breeder for nineteen years. Statistical methods provide me with a framework for thinking about scientific problems. I am fortunately in being able to apply these methods to the design and analysis of a range of experiments in genetics and plant breeding in collaboration with my colleagues at NIAB.
